People, poultry & presence

One of my favorite lessons from growing older/wiser:

Last night I indulged in organic poultry and other fresh goodness (plus some dang good Washington wine) at an initially-awkward/ultimately-enjoyable press dinner. It was one of my first on this coast, and it was interesting to note the differences and similarities to those back east. YUM:

I am trying really hard to remain in the present (which I happen to be really digging), but do scenes like this one make anyone else itch for summer:)?
