Mount Pilchuck

My calves are SORE today, but I’m  relishing the memories of yesterday’s hike across patches of brilliant green and blinding white, boulder fields and trickling snowmelt streams, not to mention the glorious 360-degree-view reward that awaited us atop Mt. Pilchuck. From the lookout point, we could see nearly every mountain range in western Washington. To say the least—it was stunning. These days, I feel so very, very lucky to call this beautiful place home.

The appearance of things change according to the emotions, and thus we see magic and beauty in them, while the magic and beauty are really in ourselves.
